My practice is deeply nourishing, inclusive, non judgemental, and modern, with an emphasis on calling attention to the present moment. I do not subscribe to a fear based, dogmatic nor superstitious practice. My work is trauma informed and inclusive. The Tarot is utilized as a tool for self reflection, inspiration, and connection to one’s inner knowing. I consider myself a guide, witness, and interpreter of the language of the cards.
Looking at this present moment, or a particular situation/question, through the lens of the archetypes, numbers, colors, and stories of the cards, a Tarot reading can be incredibly healing, affirming, and validating. It can help us know what we already know.
How does this process work remotely you may ask? It is not necessary to meet in person nor online with a reader for a Tarot reading to be nourishing and supportive. This is an outdated and superstitious view. A thoughtful intake form will help plant the seeds of the reading and prepare our minds for the experience. Working from the comfort of my home allows for minimal distraction and deep, intuitive channeling. Much like sending out a prayer, I will be visualizing you and your situation while intuitively responding to the cards that surface.

Reiki is a form of energy healing formulated by Buddhist Mikao Usui in 1922 Japan. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is excellent for stress reduction and relaxation, and promotes the body's natural ability to heal itself by redirecting the life force energy through the practitioner into the receiver. Reiki practitioners are initiated into the practice through a direct lineage of teachers descended from Usui Sensei himself, through three levels of learning and initiation. Reiki can be practiced with or without touching and while fully clothed in any comfortable position.
With care and intention, a Reiki Energy healing session with me includes a generous check in time, a gentle transition to a massage table with blankets and eye pillow. It’s normal to feel nervous or vulnerable for your energy session. Truly, all that is required is to rest and receive.
I will offer Reiki energy work through touch (if permitted) and hovering hands to the soundtrack of specially curated music. I like to work with sound, scents, and oils ( according to your comfort level.) Sometimes I receive imagery and/or messages/phrases as I work. I will share any of these to you only with your permission during or after our session.
It is not always easy to simply receive care and allow another to hold space for you. But this is truly what energy healing is all about. It can help to think of your session as safe and every day as washing the dishes; just with a witness. Energy Healing, in many ways, is like working with a kind of emotional doula. It is my honor to support and hold space for whatever shows up.

This combination just makes sense. A Tarot reading allows us to look at a particular situation through the lens of the archetypes, colors, numbers, and symbols found in the cards and call us into the present moment. It gets us more in our heads and hearts. A Reiki energy healing following this experience allows the client to sink into receiving and receptivity mode. This can be incredibly relaxing and supportive and allow the medicine of the reading to be gently integrated.

My Reiki and Shamanism training/experiences were received through the Shamanic Reiki Apprenticeship with Sara Gaines, Chicago IL/Galena IL 2019-20 with acknowledgement to the lineage of Buddhist Mikao Usui (Japan) and Chujiro Hayashi & Chie Hayashi (Japan, Hawaii) and their students Chiyoko Yamaguchi and Hawayo Takata (United States.) Other Reiki guides include Rachael Gonzalez (Milwaukee WI) Laura Frank (Kansas City MO.) I also more recently work with indigenous and nature guide, Kelly Daniels of Blue River Forest Experience in Overland Park, KS.
